What kind of hobbies or crafts are good for people with limited eyesight?

My mother’s eyesight has progressively become worse over the last couple of years due to illness. She’s a homebody, and can no longer drive so getting out is difficult. She is legally blind, but can still see to a degree. I want to find ways to keep her spirits up and her mind occupied but don’t know what kinds of hobbies or crafts would be easy for her to do?

How do I prevent my swimming suit from deteriorating in the the chlorinated water?

I swim competively. I swim in the longer kind of Speedo suit (Jammers) but I would like to know how to prevent it from deteriorating. Every night after swimming practice I always soak it in cold fresh water. But is there any other soulution or advice that you may have? Thanks in advance.

What are some crafts for kids using colored contact paper?

I have a lot of contact paper left over from the cupboards but it’s not the clear kind. I have blue and green checkered and wood grain. Any ideas on crafts I can do with these with the kids from my nanny job?

What type of arts and crafts activity would a 13 year old boy like to do on a family beach vacation?

The 13 year old is my nephew and it is an annual beach trip with his parents,his 11 year old brother, his 7 year old sister, my mom and my 7 year old daughter. We have always had a great time doing arts and crafts but last year I realized that he was getting a little old for the stuff we have always done and I really don’t know what a guy his age would find "cool" to do…..
