What kind of crafts can spikenard be used in?

I’ve done a search online through google & yahoo and have found very little in regards to crafts. I know that it is an ancient herb. I make lavender neck wraps that can be warmed in the microwave and need to know if I could use spikenard for this. Thanks for any advice.

Is it good to learn swimming underwater only?

I only picked up swimming last year by starting to learn swim underwater. I don’t know how to swim in freestyle & breaststroke neither until know. I learned swim underwater by observing others & practice on my own. Just wonder can I consider myself know swimming by just know swim underwater?

What sort of arts and crafts do you do with your kids at home?

I mostly do bead crafts with my girls. Made some bead creatures (lizards) keychains the other day. I have them paint ceramic pieces as well. But, I don’t paint with them. My girls, now 8 & 9, recycle stuff to make crafts (like a village that covers the entire floor, made from paper & tape alone) completely on their own. I don’t need to help them with stuff that doesn’t require supervision. I see about a thousand (no exaggeration) pieces of their artwork in my diningroom alone! I’m really hoping for tips on doing sellable crafts. Something like macrame’ plant hangers, leatherworking, make rocking chairs, etc. This is what sort of things I did as a kid, under 12, with adult help. Maybe some of you teens remember what you did with mom or dad or a neighborhood craftsman as an art or craft. What do YOU actually DO with your kids (or even other people’s kids) that is an art or craft? I’m really running out of ideas, & all of the sites that I have gathered about doing crafts with kids are too simple for my girls.

What are good crafts for preschooler kids?

I babysit two kids, ages 3 and 5. They like crafts but I’m running out of ideas!! I have made tambourines and music shakers, printed off colouring pages, traced & coloured leaves with crayons, let them illustrate small stories, ironed leaves in wax paper (I did the ironing; don’t worry), finger painted and cut out potato stamps to use with paint. What are good crafts to do with them? Halloween crafts would be great but any craft will do. Thanks!
